It's been a lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely time!

Learning to play Stairway to Heaven on guitar again. Maybe this time i'll learn the rest of it!

Here's something funny... last week i mentioned on this blog a few of my Wonderland co-workers from a couple summers ago, and guess who i finally spoke with?... Cindy and Cary Ann! After returning from my Waterloo journey on Sunday, i crashed for a few hours to wake up and realize Cindy had left a message on my cell. She also left a text message that read, "I want to talk to you". (????) So i gave her a call and finally spoke to her for the first time in... umm... a year?

The next day it was Cary Ann who called, suggesting we do the Opera House thing again (referring to a ska concert we saw last spring). She went on about her work experience as a waitress @ Wild Moose, a dirty little Scarborough bar which my dad actually helped renovate. (She doesn't know this.) She probably got the job because of her "I'm gonna be a bartender" goal, but to make a long story short, she was fired for getting the orders wrong! This happened a bit before me and my friends started going there. Trust me, it's not like we have any better options in Scarborough!

BTW, that "I'm gonna be a bartender" goal never worked out for her because she was... umm... too "nervous" to write the exam. Or maybe "scared" that she might actually live up to her goals for once? Either way, it disappoints me! (*shaking my head)

Anyways, this week for me is Money Saving Week! Since Sunday morning, I haven't spent even $0.01 of my money and i plan to spend as little as possible until the weekend. If you think i'm cheap, you can fuck off! I'm a university student with a commission-pay co-op job, dammit!
