GOO GOO GOO JOOB!

"Can't Stand Me Now" by The Libertines. It's been playing in my head for most parts of my Saturday afternoon/evening. Meanwhile, "Boys In the Band" has been in my head for about the last 10 months. The Libertines are definitely a band i under-rate!

Here's something funny... For the last two years, there was actually a typo on my resume which i never noticed until recently! It turns out that Wonderland is in the city of "Vaughan", and not "Vaughn". Honest to god, i had absolutely no idea about this spelling until i searched for "Vaughn Mills Mall" on Google but found only "Vaughan Mills Mall". Damn i'm an idiot! I guess this is why i've never been able to make over $10/hr. in my entire life!

Speaking of Vaughan Mills Mall, i was there today. It's a new mall which opened last Thursday down the street from Wonderland, the amusement park at which i once worked. Honestly, i don't think it's that great because first of all the parking lot is far too small for a place that size. This forced us to park at Wonderland which was kind of a hassle. I think it would have been smart to build more parking spaces before opening the mall, even if it means they'll miss out on Christmas season! Secondly, i'm not a big fan of the commercial American atmosphere created by the big TV screens and the giant store signs. It's a mall, not an amusement park! However, i do like the fishing store they have.

I was ripping tickets at my Skydome job yesterday and i think i might have met Mel Lastman, the former mayor of Toronto. He had the curly grey hair, the tanned skin colour and the friendly personality. Apparently he's been spotted frequently at the Skydome, especially at Argos games. It's hard to believe i might have actually ripped Mel Lastman's ticket!
