Blackout

Today at 5pm: I was on my break walking back to work when i stopped at a traffic light (it was red). I looked away for 2 seconds, then all of a sudden the lights were dead. Then i realized that another set of lights down the street were also dead. It turns out that a generator had fucked up and most of Waterloo was without power for about 5 hours.

I made a few observations during the mini-blackout:

- Some Waterloo drivers don't understand that during a power outage traffic lights are to be treated as if they are stop signs
- UW students have way too much love for school (lets just say they don't like going home)
- FOBs find everything funny (?)
